The women of today are faced with dual responsibilities. They are tasked with the role of domestic duties and the other in the work environment. In previous years, the women were more home oriented, but the changes in this modern era; the 21st century has caused them to reshape their thinking. They are on the front line addressing and dealing with different issues to negate change. Such issues are domestic abuse, better income, and health related matters just to name a few. Society has to support and encourage the women of today in their pursue for change to foster development in their lives and of their children.

EMPOWERING WOMEN IN THE 21ST CENTURY

Women in the 21st century have taken on a more dominant role in our society today. When compared to previous years, they are better able to take up the challenge of careers in  male dominated fields. Women are encouraged and given the opportunity to explore and develop themselves to compete in an ever changing world. They see themselves as equals to men. They now possess more courage and strength to 'jostle' the men and surpass them with their performances at different levels.
Therefore, women's role can be seen as 'we are capable of doing anything and become prominent fabrics of  society today.
